Steve Bowyer

Owner & Head Mechanic

Hi I’m Steve, owner and senior technician at PVR Ltd. I have 20 years experience in the motor maintenance and repair trade. I was taught by the last of the engineers of this trade resulting in a vast knowledge of classic and older vehicles. I have the patience to go with the knowledge to lovingly look after your older vehicle. This doesn’t mean that modern cars are left out. I have been employed by dealerships and a motorsport specialist and most recently have become level 3 qualified in maintenance and repair of Electric and Hybrid vehicles. I am also a class 4 & 7 MOT tester.

I have a love of all vehicles but the weirder and more wonderful the better, in my time I have owned Audi 100’s, Nissan Skylines, Suzuki Kei, Dihatsu Mira, modified off road Land Rovers. I have a love of rotary engines but these days a good old fashioned commercial diesel engine is my favourite.

My hobbies include off roading in my Land Rover and a summer drive out in my Mk1 Ford Escort.

Emma Bowyer

Owner & Head Everything Else

Hi I’m Emma, owner, HR, book keeper and service reception at PVR. I have 17 years experience in admin and customer service across a number of sectors, from Insurance to service reception at a HGV dealership. I love lists which mean that the office and therefore the workshop run smoothly. A chat and a brew is always on the cards.

I have a love of all cars, but mainly Fords. My pride and joy is my Mk6 Ford Escort RS2000. Steve has the first of the Escorts and I have the last.

My hobbies include reading, spending time with friends but I love nothing more than a drive out regardless of the weather.

Alice

Hi I’m Alice. I work as a service receptionist here at PVR/ But if you can’t find me at my desk I will be somewhere in the workshop learning about the vehicles we have and what is involved in each job as I am a car enthusiast.
 
When I’m not at work I am either at the stables riding my horse, Archie, or working my two cocker spaniels, Jasper and Arlo.

Gav

Hi! I’m Gav, garage manager at PVR. I am dad to 2 boys. I live and breathe cars, always reading articles on the latest technology and finding out as much as I can about it. I bring my passion for cars and my skills as a project manager with me which have allowed me become the manager here.

I have gained lots of qualifications including my MOT testers certificate and my EV & Hybrid level 3.

I thrive and make it my personal mission to solve problems especially the ones other people can’t.

Leon

Hi I’m Leon, a technician here at PVR. I’m the main fabricator on site. I enjoy the constant learning cycle within the motor trade and am always ready for the next challenge.

In my free time I enjoy indulging in my hobbies and interests, which include travelling abroad and fixing motor bikes. Fixing motor bikes allows me to showcase my skills and creativity. The satisfaction of seeing a broken bike restored to its former glory is truly unmatched.

Exploring new cultures, trying exotic cuisines and immersing myself in different ways of life are experiences that enrich my soul and broaden my perspective.

Jack

Hi! I’m Jack. I’m an apprentice here at PVR. I am currently working towards my Level 2 in Light vehicle maintenance and repair. I love working on cars, even though my interest was originally motorbikes. O love working on engines and being able to strip them down and rebuild them. I am always eager and ready to learn.

Outside of work I love to go out on rides on my motorbike and go on adventures.
